What's On for Families in Ibiza: 24–31 August
Looking for something to do with the kids before August disappears?
From stargazing and outdoor cinema to traditional fiestas, workshops, and a free trip to the farm, there's plenty happening across Ibiza during the final week of the month.

Monday 24 August – Sant Bartomeu Celebrations, San Antonio
The Festes de Sant Bartomeu are in full swing in San Antonio, with the town celebrating one of its biggest fiestas of the year.
Expect a fantastic atmosphere around the town and waterfront as the festivities continue.
For families staying on the west coast, it's definitely worth heading into San Antonio to soak up the celebrations.

Tuesday 25 August – Free Entry for Children at Can Muson
Here's a particularly good one for younger kids.
Can Muson Farm is offering free entry for children on Tuesdays during July and August.
It's a chance to escape the beach for a few hours and introduce the little ones to Ibiza's rural side.

Why we like it: Animals + kids + free entry is a pretty good combination.
Wednesday 26 August – Children's Workshop
There is a children's August workshop taking place from 17:00 to 18:30.
A nice late-afternoon option when everyone has had enough sun for the day.

Thursday 27 August – Stargazing at BiBo Park
One of our favourites this week.
BiBo Park hosts a special family-friendly astroturismo experience on 27, 28, and 29 August.
Starting at 20:30, families can explore the night sky with professional telescopes, observing the Moon, Saturn, star clusters, and constellations while learning more about the stories and science behind them.
There are also food trucks on site, so you can make an evening of it.

Friday 28 August – Storytelling
A storytelling session of *Pequeño Azul y Pequeño Amarillo* takes place on Friday evening.
A lovely option for families with younger children.

Friday 28 August – Fiestas de Jesús Begin
The annual Fiestas de Jesús get underway on Friday evening.
The celebrations begin in the village square from 19:00 and continue into September.
If you're visiting Ibiza with children, local village fiestas are a brilliant way to experience an entirely different side of the island.

Friday 28 August – Free Outdoor Cinema
There's also free cinema under the stars on Friday evening.

Saturday 29 August – Traditional Grape Treading in Jesús
This is a great opportunity for children to see some genuine Ibicencan tradition.
On Saturday evening, Jesús hosts its traditional *fonyada de raïm* – grape treading following the harvest.
It starts at 18:30 and is followed by a traditional peasant fiesta in the village square.

Saturday 29 August – Youth Treasure Hunt in Sant Agustí
Older children and teenagers can take part in the second Gran Gimcana Jove, 'Missió Cuc de Garrova'.
Think of it as a giant organised challenge/game running through the village.

Saturday 29 August – Another Free Outdoor Movie
Ibiza Town's outdoor cinema continues on Saturday with a free screening of *Hidden Figures* (*Figuras Ocultas*).

The Viu l'Artesania craft fair opens in Ibiza Port on Saturday evening.

Sunday 30 August – Festa de la Terra, San Antonio
This sounds like a particularly good family afternoon.
The Festa de la Terra takes over Passeig de ses Fonts with local crafts and produce, children's activities, including T-shirt painting; traditional games; folk performances; and local food.

Now this one should score some serious parent points.
The Misión Posidonia Pro workshop gives children the opportunity to create their own video game.

There's always something to do with children in Ibiza.
