Sithappy founders story

Sithappy: A Founders’ Story Rooted in Real Life
Sithappy wasn’t built in a boardroom — it started with a simple, familiar frustration.
Founders JJ and Sophie, both parents, found themselves facing the same challenge many families experience when travelling to Ibiza: how do you find safe, trusted childcare, exactly when you need it?
Ibiza is known for its energy, freedom, and lifestyle — but for parents, accessing that experience often comes with compromise. Traditional childcare options were either difficult to source, lacked transparency, or required too much forward planning. There was no reliable, on-demand solution that matched the expectations of modern families.
JJ and Sophie saw the gap clearly because they lived it.
They wanted the ability to book a trusted, vetted babysitter as easily as ordering a taxi or reserving a table — something flexible, professional, and built around real life. Not just for emergencies, but for everyday moments: a dinner out, an event, a few hours to reset.
What began as a personal need quickly evolved into a business idea with much broader potential.
Sithappy was created to bring structure, trust, and simplicity to childcare in Ibiza. Every sitter is carefully selected, qualified, and aligned with the platform’s standards — giving parents confidence without the usual stress or uncertainty. The service is designed to be seamless, allowing families to access high-quality childcare on demand, wherever they are on the island.
But beyond the product, the vision was always bigger.
JJ and Sophie set out to build something that supports a new kind of family lifestyle — one where parents don’t have to choose between responsibility and experience. Sithappy enables families to enjoy more of what Ibiza has to offer, while knowing their children are in safe, capable hands.
Today, Sithappy is growing into a trusted name within Ibiza’s family and hospitality ecosystem, partnering with villas, hotels, and lifestyle brands to integrate childcare directly into the guest experience.
At its core, though, the mission remains unchanged — solving a real problem for real parents, just like the founders themselves.
